so, i have got to be one of the biggest dorks alive. It's really windy here right now, and it's making me kinda nervous...Me and Anna were sitting on the couch watching tv, cuddling, and the lights all go out. now, being the huge dork that i am, i'm deathly afraid of the dark. i would rather be in a room full of snakes then a house thats pitch black. Now, keeping in mind that i have JUST moved, i had to go searching through the house for candles.. lucky for me i keep candles very very handy, for this reason, although i pass it off as a love of candles... i went as far as opening my shades to make sure that power was off on my whole block, becuase i was afraid maybe someone was trying to kill me... serial killer, mass murderer, something to that affect... i'm such a dork... just had to tell everyone that...

i'm also very sad becuase it looks like i'm going to have to cancel the kids b-day party due to our huge amount of brokeness... i cried about it for a while.. i'm really sad...

so, i'm moved, FINALLY!! of course, now my old apartment landlord is being an ass, and wants me to clean MORE, and is threatoning to take me to court if i don't come and clean the damn place more, even though i'm already paying him $50 for the carpet (mandatory in the lease)....

i felt like i was never gonna get all the boxes packed, now i feel like i'm never gonna get them unpacked... it truely SUCKS ASS! however, having a house is nice, i really like it, although it still hasn't taken on the "home" effect yet... soon i hope...

Kyle got called the other day. He has to go to Riverside, and get all his paperwork filled out, and his shots, becuase they have a 95% chance of going to Iraq... He has to do a will, and all that kind of stuff.... i'm scared to death. I don't want him to go, i'm trying to convince him to shot himself in the foot so he can stay home... so far he's declined the offer... something about doing the honorable thing yada yada... honestly i don't care if it's honorable or not, i love my husband, and i don't want to chance losing him... and, to make matters worse, the army put a freeze on all discharges, effect feb 1, 2004 (as far as i've been told), basically that means that he can't get out. he is supposed to be able to be done on june 19,2004... but as of right now, he can't be... ugh, i hate it!

We closed on the house today, and now i've got to get a million and one things done by Next week friday. We've got painting and carpeting and packing and moving, and a whole lot of shit to do, so i won't have time for this AT ALL. (we all know that won't happen, but i'm gonna say it anyways lol) so anyways, if you don't hear from me for a week or 2, don't be concerned, i'll be back!

i have realized that people come into your life for a reason, and when they are no longer needed, they just seem to go away. I had a really really good friend, her name was Jenny. Me and her got along so great, and i miss her dearly, but i have realized that i learned what i needed to learn from her. Before i met her, i was still somewhat weirded out by gay people, she was a lesbian. but after hanging out with her, i realized that gay people are just like everyone else, and just like race, there is nothing really different about them. I used to have so much fun with her, and she above everyone else, taught me that i am a strong person, and as cliche as it will sound, she taught me that i will survive. She helped me get through a lot of things. She was pretty much my best friend for about a year, from about 3 weeks after my son was born, till about 3 weeks after he turned 1, at least thats the last time that i remember seeing her. We didn't end on bad terms or anything like that, she just moved around a lot, and somehow i lost her. My phone number got changed, hers got shut off, and i haven't seen her since then.... I wish that she was still around, and perhaps she will be again someday, but for now, i think that i'm just going to be satisfied with the fact that she taught me so much, without meaning to, and that she was one of the best friends that i've ever had.

so i skipped psychology today, all he did was lecture, so it wasn't that big of a deal. i did go to speech though, which was stupid, i should have just stayed home today. the speech teacher just went around and looked at everyone's outlines. you can tell that no one wants to be in that class, the only reason that anyone is in it is because it's mandatory. but anyways, he told me that my outline was perfect, and that my speech will go fine if i follow it.

Anna's getting so big, she's started to walk a little bit, and she's got a whole mouth full of teeth. she says "hello" and "hi" and "mama" and "daddeee" she's so freaking cute. Liam is like a regular person now. his little attitude cracks me up. he tries to lock me out of the car, and he thinks its hilarious (i'm onto him now, i roll the windows down so he can't) i'll finally persuade him to unlock the doors and he'll look at me and go "I locked you out" it's so funny. and i still can't get over when he told kyle to "put your shoes on, lets go to the park NOW" it was so cute. well anyways, i just thought i'd put a random update on here, i gotta run turn the 30 day extention on our lease in, and find a babysitter so i can go to the gym...

it is 34º outside! i can't believe it's that cold already! i'm having issues planning the kids b-day party, too many people coming, i don't know what to do, i don't have anywhere big enough for that many people, there are over 60 people who are going to come.

alright, we found a house. We put in a contract on a house. We are really excited about this one, and we are pretty sure that we are going to get it. I'm not going to say the location, because i know that some people still read my journal, and i'm really not interested in sharing anything about it with said people. however, to those of you who i do think are worthy of my time, this is what the house looks like:

ok, you walk in the front door and you can go straight into the kitchen, which is rather big, 17x11 with a breakfast bar, or you can go left, into a HUGE living room, 17x17, with skylights! then you can go left, into a hallway which contains the bedrooms. the first 2 are the same size, 14x9, and they both have skylights, and further down the hallway is the master bedroom, which is 18x12. (a very good size, and much better than the 9x9 that kyle almost made me get) now, back in the kitchen, you can go right, and you go into the dining room, or turn right again and go into the bathroom/laundry room. then there is yet another room that they tried to pass for a bedroom, but it's like 8x9, and would be more suited for a storage closet. So anyways, i hope that we get it, i can't wait to be away from here. and we can get a dog too, me and kyle haven't decided whether we want an akita, a white german shepard, or a lab. one of the three though... well anyways, gotta go, it's time for bed for me, i have to get up and work in the morning, and i've got to finish the rest of my speech stuff that is due on friday. i hope that i get a good grade, so far i've gotten an A on everything except my psych test, which, i was informed that a C is perfectly acceptable for your first test, and being that a good portion of the class failed, i think i'll be happy with it, and work harder the next time. Good night all, i'm going to finish watching the Packers kill the Bears, then i'm sleeping!

So yea, we went out last night, really went out. We went to Tommy O's, a local sports bar. Kyle loves to play pool, so thats why we went. I was basically a hood ornament all night. A couple weeks ago, a friend of his called, someone that he hadn't seen in quite a few years, but he really wanted to get together with. So i called the friend, and set it up so that the person would meet us at the bar. I was going to surprise Kyle, but then all hell broke loose when i realized that i didn't have my id becuase that stupid cop took it the other day because i "rolled through" a stop sign. (yes, well, i did) so i was flipping out, because i really really wanted to go. Kyle said that he would stay home, but that wouldn't work, because i had already called his friend, and it was all set up, and so i told him that he could still go. Then we decided that i would go to, and if they didn't let me in, then i would just leave and come back later to pick him up. And then, after all the freaking out, they didn't even card me. It was so weird, becuase every single time i go in there, they card me, no questions asked. But this time, they just let me walk right through the door. So anyways, we got really drunk, spent way too much money, then had to drive home. Since i was the leased drunk of the 2 of us, i was the one who had to drive. (keep in mind, that i was not so drunk i was seeing double or anything, becuase i never EVER would have drove if i was that drunk) as i was driving, in North Aurora (cops are dicks, and they pull you over if you go a 1/2 mile over the speed limit) this car pulls some bullshit, and speeds up and passes me on the shoulder. Then i see another one coming (i'm really buzzed, and freaking out) and this one passes me on the left, and it was a cop! i felt soooo lucky! so we were supposed to meet everyone at denny's (in north aurora) however, no one showed, so we just came home instead, and i am hungover as hell, and now we gotta go look at houses, yay! so anyways, sorry this was so rambling, i just wanted to update and let everyone know what was going on.

FAIRY TALE

nce upon a time there has a young tractor builder named KYLE. He was JUMPING in the PURPLE forest when he met POLKA DOTTED EMMETTE, a run-away COMPUTER GEEK from the GREEN Queen MICHELLE.

KYLE could see that POLKA DOTTED EMMETTE was hungry so he reached into his BAG and give him his LONG SPAGHETTI. POLKA DOTTED EMMETTE was thankful for KYLE's SPAGHETTI, so he told KYLE a very HARD story about Queen MICHELLE's daughter RACHAEL. How her mother, the GREEN Queen MICHELLE, kept her locked away in a HOSPITAL protected by a gigantic PLATYPUS, because RACHAEL was so STRIPED.

KYLE JUMPED. He vowed to POLKA DOTTED EMMETTE the COMPUTER GEEK that he would save the STRIPED RACHAEL. He would KICK the PLATYPUS, and take RACHAEL far away from her eveil mother, the GREEN Queen MICHELLE, and KISS her.

Then, all of the sudden, there was a ORANGE FLASH and POLKA DOTTED EMMETTE the COMPUTER GEEK began to laugh. With a puff of smoke he turned into the gigantic PLATYPUS from his story. GREEN Queen MICHELLE SANG out from behind a CARD and struck KYLE dead. In the far off HOSPITAL you could hear a HONK.

I'm quite sad to announce that the house we wanted is already under contract! grr!! so we are going to keep looking. We have decided for sure that we are going to that area, it's about an hour from here. there is too much negative energy coming from this area. so, it's time to get away! We are also going to Jamaica next summer if i can swing it. I'm hoping to get a job closer to here, although it is looking like i'm gonna have to go to the hospital thats about an hour drive from here... but, since i really like what i'll be doing there, i guess it's ok to drive that much. I'm gonna call them about it tomorrow, and hopefully set up an interview. wish me luck! i feel like i'm finally moving forward with my life. I was stuck there for a while, and hating it. now that i'm going to school, and me and Kyle are still doing so well, life is really really good! well i'm off to go cook dinner, then i think we might watch a movie, or perhaps not, becuase he's been so busy lately, and he hasn't gotten to play his video game, he may just do that. We'll see....

I've been avoiding moving to DeKalb, which is where he really wants to go, however, the college out there has a good Nursing program, and i can transfer there since i've already started here. And he told me that he would buy me a car if we move out there, because i don't have one right now.
